Thank you for your interest in the Greater Boston Chapter of Blacks In Government.  Membership is open to any person who is in accord with the philosophy, principles, policies and objectives of this organization, and agrees to adhere to the same, may become a member of this organization with consent of the Board of Directors by paying the annual membership fee, provided he or she is qualified as stated herein. There shall be three categories of individual membership: Regular, Associate, and Life.

Regular Membership:

Any employee or retiree of the Federal, State or Local government who is in accord with the principles, policies and objectives of the organization. Regular members shall be accorded all privileges of membership, except being national delegates unless they are also chapter members.

 

Associate Membership:

Such members shall be accorded all rights and privileges of membership, except those of voting and holding elective offices.

 

Life Membership:

Such members shall be accorded all rights and privileges of membership, except that only those who are also qualified as Regular members shall be eligible to vote or hold elective offices.

 

Gold Plus Membership:

Such members shall be accorded all rights and privileges of membership except that only those who are qualified as Life members shall be eligible to receive Gold Plus Membership.
